With 10 years industrial recruitment experience under his belt Josh has set up several apprenticeship programmes and sourced placements for dozens of apprentices across the Wellington region.
The Record of Work App is Josh's brain child and was inspired by the large numbers of apprentices while always completing their on-site work to high standards always seemed to struggle with keeping legible records and notes for the practical work diaries.
Many apprentices also lost their cameras, phones and diaries meaning that they would to record the work again adding months if not years to their length of their apprenticeships. Although Josh's background and inspiration for the app comes from his experience with carpentry apprentices it is his vision to see Record of Work being used by apprentices and all people required to keep an on the job record for their qualifications.
